That I am puzzled about.It is made of brass or bronze and is about 3 inches long X 1 1/2 inches wide at the widest point.There is nothing on the back.In case you can't read all the words from my scan it says "Alamin comes down from Little Rock To New Orleans" Any ideas on this one?

You might have a tag that commemorates the struggles of the civil-rights / muslim leader Imam Jamil Al Amin. He was put on trial in New Orleans and the trial was a national affair.I believe it was in the sixties.Would explain the figure on the front which looks like someone raising their fist in outcry.

Rap Brown went underground. During a countrywide manhunt, he
was put on the FBI's list of "10 most wanted." In 1971, he was finally captured in an incident connected to an armed action against a New York City bar known for its police connections and its distribution of hard drugs in the Black community. Rap served six years in prison--where he converted to Islam and took the name Jamil Abdullah Al-Amin. <<<
