The XL PRO!! Minelab SE with Excelerator 10 x 14 coil and sunray X-1 probe.....Fisher CZ70PRO with Sunray 12" FZ coil and Sunray FZ-1 Probe...and now.....the White's XL PRO with 5.3 Bullseye coil and Sunray XL-1 Probe. GOOD LUCK TO ANY COINS TRYING TO HIDE FROM THIS COMBO!

Boy, you can not go wrong with that set up, one of them is bound to do the job. My favorite is the XL Pro, the CZ 70 Pro is a pretty darn good coin machine over all, sold mine a year or so ago. Never cared for the Minelab machines myself.

gotta tell ya!..you have effectively eliminated the other two by adding the pro with bullseye!,although the cz-70 is a "nasty" hunter too!..i had one,but got tired of having to hip mount it all the time!
not well balanced at all,and did not want to hip mount any more!

classic ID with Mr. Bill mods and it has the 3.5 snooper coil on it. NO coin is safe from this combo unless it's hiding in China!

after I bought the first one! IF you can find one you better grab it...seriously. I have an SE...a CZ70pro...a modified clasic ID...and now TWO xl pros. They are an excellent machine and I found about them and learned about them on this very forum just a few weeks ago. I read the posts just like you are doing and wanted to try one out for myself...and now I have two!

Yea, I totally agree with you. I managed to snag a NOS (never used parts still sealed in bags and box) XL-Pro and I think It's amazing! I'm still learning the sounds and have a way to go but hope to master it soon. I also got the smaller coils for real trashy areas that come up. Anyway, I think these machines are getting harder to find with the prices going up as they develop a true cult following! I might also look for another one before It's too late. HH

Good evening, gentlemen,your favorable comments on the XL pro have sealed my decision on one. If you knowlegeable and experienced users would share any information that you know would be helpful, I would appreiciate your imput very much. hello!..jr!
the best tip i can give you is when hunting in trash..(just about everywhere these days!)..is to ground balance,then set the the signal balance as "hot" as you can for the existing conditions..(just shy of being unstable..meter jumping around,and unstable threshold!)..then switch to (s.a.t) mode and hunt slowly to effectivly isolate,and identify targets properly!...ohhh!..almost forgot!..go buy the 5.3 blackmax,or bullseye coil,and NEVER take it off!..the meter is "dead nuts" accurate,and the coil,and detector combo is one terrific coin sniping duo!..(have fun!)...
