Found this yesterday at an old site I've been hunting with my new Elite. It seems to be made of Brass and as you can see it's closed on one end and open on the other with the remains of a chain link still attached to it. About the size of a nickel length wise and 3/8" wide. Also found the Shriners Potentate lapel pin (14k) and what looks like a fountain pin decoration that also tested as white gold and at least(18k)with very intricate leaf designs. Sorry for the poor picture but it's the best I can do right now. <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt="">
