Cool old adds!:clapping:Thanks for sharing!:biggrin:Yeah man, I've got that old BFO Coin Hunter as well as the VLF/TR Coin Hunter(not pictured). It's fun to swing them around every now and again. They are actually quite good machines and built like tanks. There good for testin' ore samples, too!:wiggle:Happy Hunting!:)
 
Yeah I've got an old Compass TR that I play with often. I owned Compass machines for years before they went tits up.

II've got an old Garrett master hunter X10 series that I wouldn't trade for the world, it is very strong and one of my favorite detectors even tho' I have the latest and statest of the art detectors - that old saying: they don't build them like they used to is very applicable with this oldie but goodie.
 
They DO look a bit ...????? ackward to use to say the least

But cool to see the stuff that got the hobby started
