I envy the detectorists who can get out into the woods and find beautiful old coins....just can't get there..have to settle for beach -ruined coins

Here''s pics of finds from yesterday and today

thanks for looking

Magz

p.s. I will be soaking the quarter in Palmolive liquid tomorrow...I find that this brings back some of the nickel compostion

Used to be an all day type thing Pillar used to run....

They plan it out pretty much a year in advance... RSVP's only... and buss loads from around New England show up... :yikes:

We're in the wide open main room(s)... monster sound in there... you know how big that is... :yikes:

Sorta like an end of the year type of deal... sit down din-din... etc...

All I know is that I'll be out of the house `round 9AM lugging gear... gig is 11:30 to 3:30 I believe ... who knows

Hey, you know the drill... feed me and pay me for lugging all that gear... we don't get paid to play... that's enjoyment!!!

Pillar & the City had a falling out of sorts....

He moved it to Mohegan Sun for a time... and they too had

a falling out....

Yes, I played the Ocean Beach ones with the original RBO back in
the early `70s....

Was playing with a REAL :)lol:  ) 7 piece group when all of the

moving took place.... NOT RBO... playing stuff like Chicago, Beatles, Tower of Power, Van Morrison, etc... NO POLKAS!!

The Mid-West is really the happening place now for all of the

LARGE festivals.... Tighter knit families, younger ones interested in the music, yada, yada...

You know how it goes....

Packing gear inna little bit then headed out...

Best... Ralpheeeeeeeeeeeeeeee (As Marc calls me!!  )
