Here's what I want to know about the new 11" coil....

I've heard: good separation, smooth and stable, lighter and better balanced BUT what about the depth. I'm wondering is it going to be a loser in the depth of detection. I bought the X-12 a couple of years ago and gave it a good try. It definitely was smooth and stable, light and balanced BUT in the places where I hunted it was a loser in depth. If I find out this one is as good or better than the stock coils at picking up the deep ones then I'll get serious about buying one but otherwise that stock coil is working just fine and why bother????
I appreciate you guys keeping us posted on the results!

The 1809 Half Cent I got the other day with it was an amazing 5" Deep. :surprised:
To be honest with you, I'm sure it's at least as deep as the FBS1050. I think this coil is a winner since the EX II was fazed out.

I did dig a .577 or .58 cal fired Gardner at around 8". I'm sure it'll will go much deeper as it gave out a loud and clear response when I swept the coil over it and it ID'd right on the money.
