Hey all...Haven't been on here in awhile

Howdy,
Haven't been on here in awhile. I've been in Iraq for about 9 1/2 months now with my Michigan Guard unit. We should be OUTTA HERE in early December. I did manage to get a little detectin' in when I was home for leave in mid-april. Here's a pic of what I found. There's a few early merc's in there (1917 & 1917-S), 3 IH's (1883, 1892, & 1895) and a couple V-Nickels (1897 & 1911). My favorite find was the '23 Michigan Chauffeur License. Since it will still be snowmobile season when I get home these finds also constitute my 2005 totals . There's also a self-portrait I took of myself today while running an earthmover working on a road project over here.

I haven't been on here in a while either. Nice to be back looking at all the good finds the Explorer produces! Good luck on finishing up in December. Keep the sand out of your M16!
