Hey Andy, when are we going to be able to get our hands on this?

Looks like a nice setup they have coming for water hunters...

XP has been working on this for some time and it's good to see it coming to fruition. Many of us have been water hunting with our Deus's for going on 2 years

The conversion is really a lot simpler than it might appear - the key is to get the signal from the coil to the headphones or the control unit and then to headphones. The Des Handbook covers how to perform the modification and the key is to not go cheap on the case . . . . I bought a number of low cost cases to see how they worked and in each case, they leaked when submerged in just a few feet of water. Quality cases - hard or soft - never leaked and I have well over 100 hours in the water up to my neck with no issues other than a number of pieces of gold in my collection

I would happy to share the mods as would Terry (MI) who has done quite well with his in the water.

I will get some information on pricing of the officla package and post it here.

I'm looking for real good fresh water program , I have read your book Andy and it have help a lot but I can't for some reason get my head around the water settings I really would like to
Use the xp in the water instead of my ctx3030

Don't overthink the water settings. Use similar to what you use on land. Buy a good case that will allow you to make adjustments without opening the case and exposing it to potential drowning. Make adjustments according to the site your hunting. It isn't that complicated, most of the water hunting I do is based off of gmp with slight tweaks. Also if the area is loaded with iron I normally leave the ground at 90 manual.... The water makes the iron halo much worse than on land. The steel caps are easier to discern in water then on land.
Getting the deus waterproof and in the water is the most important part of the equation.

I got the waterproofing coved just fishing for a good starting point to tweak to my way of hunting

The kit is now available on a pre-order basis with delivery scheduled for early August (customs permitting)

See details on the post under the Sticky section
