I took a nice picture of it yesterday....just looks like a mound of snow with a black side mirror sticking out <img src="/metal/html/biggrin.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":D"> I was actually one of the "Lucky ones" if this blizzard is at all lucky. I only have about 14-15" @ my house. Mr Bill down at the Cape, are you out there? The coast gut blasted with like 3 feet! <img src="/metal/html/shocked.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":shock">

That's right Mike, RUB IT IN! Someday GOD WILLING, I'll be heading SOUTH, and I won't be stopping until I get to S.C./Ga./Fla. Make sure you use plenty of sunscreen, you don't want to get too much SUN! HH, NamVetLesTreasureSeeker
 
Hey Mike, I HEAR YA! For now, I'm just trying to get down there for a whole month in April 2005. I usually come down every year for the Florida Vietnam Veterans Reunion in Melbourne, Fla., along with alot of metal detecting on both coasts of Florida. Also, I'm hoping to be in the GREAT SOUTHERN BEACH SHOOTOUT in Daytona, Fla., on Apr.30,May 1-2, 2005.
I was signed up for it last yr., lost my $200 entry fee, because of personal family obligations. But, I knew that could happen, when I registered.
I personally take care of my 91yr. old father, who has Alhzeimers Disease, and for the last 1 1/2 yrs., I've been doing it all by myself. So, I'm lucky if I can get in 2-3 hrs. of local metal detecting, once every week or two! Believe me, I NEED A VACATION IN SUNNY FLORIDA! But, for now, I'll just have to wait and see if my sister will do her duty, and share in the responsibility.
If I make it down, maybe we can get together for some detecting. HH, NamVetLesTreasureSeeker
