FInally on the road RVing our way back to NH. Sitiing outside Memphis tonight in a KOA in or Motorhome. Pretty nasty strong thunderstorm right now...found a leak in the Motorhome..right over the couch/sons bed....poor kid.... :)
Do you guys remember when Vernon moved from Alaska back to Va.....how about the stories. I remember looking forward to reading his adventures when he would post. Makes the crap we are going through in our trip seem trivial. Now that was some funny stuff.

Man it is brutal sitting in the middle of relic country and not have anyone to to show me where to go.....ahhhh...this is torture. I was going to grab my detector and jump in the woods at a rest stop on the I40. May sound desperate but...I knew a guy who did that in CT...and nailed 2 large cents and a NJ copper...go figure.
We blew a rear tire in Oklahoma City...hit a large piece of a broken driveshaft...just can't swerve in a 34 foot MH towing a Cherokee. Lucky to have only blown one tire....and I blew a 6 inch hole on both sidewalls. I did not even know as I have dual rears...but I stopped 20 miles down the road at a rest stop for a pee brake and when i looked at the tires I nearly fainted....I will post a pic of it later...i have my whole hand inside it.
Well....had my nightly Corona...time to relax. Last 950 miles start tomorrow.

...if you have never experienced a Walmart in the middle of nowhere Oklahoma....well..all I can say is...d@mn.
Scariest thing I ever experienced. If I took a pic..you wouldn't believe me anyway.

Hi Scott glad to see you are getting closer to Gods country. What is your destination goal? I told Mr. Bill you should park in his yard. Have a safe trip. Frank in NH

....will end up renting an apartment somewher within 10 miles of Dover as my wife works there. Plus we know the area and I know the good places to detect within 30 miles...:)
