Hey Dahut here's my field test on the CZ 7a Pro from ten years ago back when Fisher made real detectors..

Wish I still had it. It was a very good detector, fully featured as I recall. I remember the first time I realized it hit high tone on nickels.
I liked that feature.
It was a tad clunky, but I could live with that.

But, and here it comes, Bill... I like the F70 better.

It does all the CZ did, is 1/3 the weight and is just as likeable. I still miss my GTP 1350, and will get another in time.
For now, well... lets not get too deep into the Fisher stuff here in Green Territory.

It also had that wonderful Fisher coil. I was so glad when Garrett finally adopted the same style.

I got the Fisher in a "deal" off one of the forums we are not allowed to mention here. A young lady on the forums saw that I lived in the same area as her and wondered if I would buy a couple of inherited detectors she had.

One was a Tesoro Silver Sabre uMax and the other the Fisher CZ7a Pro. She needed the cash and would let them both go for $400, along with a box lot of detector accessories. Did someone say, "Hit me with a shovel?"

I used the Fisher for a season, then sold it to a guy in Canada for over $700. I couldn't resist the trade up value.

Dave Johnson is still the lead engineer at Fisher and the machines are built just over the border in Mexico where the management can keep a better watch on the process then when they were being built in China under the "old" Fisher. My experience with Johnson's latest designs has been very positive. I've got over a 100 hours on the machine now so I think I have a good handle on the quality and abilities of the machine.

From the original CZ6 circa 1992 to present day CZ3D...Agree Fishers new models are lighter, faster and better meter but the EMI drove me crazy...
Again lets face it Garrets excell also and above posts better suited on the CZ forum..
