Only problem for me is that I am in California right now and will not be able to run my new-new detector through its paces until I get back home. And it is looking like that won't be until around the 7th of June. Danged work is getting in the way of the important stuff like DETECTING!!!!! :grin:

So I'll have to tell you how good it is now after I get back.

The upside is that it is Strawberry time in Santa Maria! Nothing like fresh strawberry's.... mmmmm.....

And for any of you travellers that come by this way. There is a BBQ place here in Casmalia,CA. that has the BEST fillet Mignon it the WORLD!!!!! Life is rough.

It is called The Hitching Post. Great place for food.

The prime contractor has decided that they want to push us out the door. We either go to work for them or we lose our slots to them. Either way we lose as a company. Because I'm going to school under L-3's corporate education program, I am going to have to take a layoff in order to not have to pay back any of the education expenses.

I could not and will not go to work for Honeywell (the prime contractor) as they are not the greatest company to work for. So unless I can find a position with L-3 under a different contract here in the Springs, I'm more than likely out of a job after 23 years come 1 October. I at least get 23 weeks of severence. woo hoo
