Can you/should you use a Ni-Cad charger to charge
NIMH batteries?

I have noticed on one of my new chargers has a switch for one or the other but not sure why. I can try to drop them a line for an answer. I wouldn't think a smart charger would care. The SunRay quick charger will do 8 1600ma NiMH batteries without heating them up in 4 hours. And it plugs into your car and comes with the 12 volt adapter to bring it inside. I bought a cheap Eveready ($12) that does about the same thing with 4 at a time but not sure how smart it is. That might be the one with the switch. Can't see it around anywhere so I'll have to tell you later...
Good shooting... Guvner..
