Hey I can see the ground (morning of 3/8/09)...

Pete in MI

New member
had to go in to work then told to go home - the other maintenance guy showed up and sent me home - not him and I always work Sundays

Figured I;d swing by the ball field...Woo Hoo no snow maybe a little frozen but can get past that. Not sure what happened. Heard it was going to rain..it sleeted then it snowed and sleeted some more and snowed some more and got called in to work to shovel snow. Missed the chance to dig.

I did all the walks and by the time I was done no one knew I had started it had snowed and blowed that much. Decided to go home. Started the van and went out to scrape windows while the van was warming up a little - got locked out of the van. It ran for an hour before I could have Sherry's set of keys delivered to me to get into the van....which was toasty now. Didn't help our gas mileage idling for an hour.

I look out the window now and see nothing but white and sunshine...where was the sun yesterday when I might have gotten out? Supposed to be nice today (my day off) but have errands to run and expecting more snow/rain/sleet in the next few days.

The ground should be there!
I bet your ground is quite frozen. Last Thursday I was 100 miles south of here and still found frozen ground. It is all better now though!

Sounds like you are being tested some more with things happening the way they are going, but sooner or later you will get to go swinging and digging, so keep the faith that no matter what the weather is that it will change and then Pete can go out to play, hopefully??? Keep on, keepin' on for Jesus, as He is our All in all and helps us in times of need.....and even when we lock ourselves out of our own cars or vans! :) Jesus will provide by leaning on and trusting in Him always, even when things aren't looking so good financially or otherwise! He knows our needs before we even ask, but we still need to ask and then thank Him in all things! God Bless! Betty
