Hey Ohio Fred............ May be seeing grass in the very near future......

Mark ( ohio )

Well-known member
extended outlook 5-7 days are temps in low-mid 40s with a day or 2 in the hi 40s.... May be just enough to rid the ground of snow... The safari is at the back door now growling.. ready to be unleashed..

More later.. Mark ( ohio )

How's the ground under the snow? I know here in Ma. we have some frost, don't know how thick. All the snow in my neighborhood is gone. I was on a job today in Gardener,Ma. and there was over a foot of snow in places. My safari is ready for a safari. We're also supposed to get some of that nice weather, which I hope will create some relic hunting.

Yes i was in part of the yard today were the snow melted found a penny so it is the start of new season.Yes it can keep getting warmer soon hope to see your finds with your new machine.Want to see what kind of depth you get.Did you know there was a Ohio metal detecting magazine.http://www.ohiometaldetecting.com/magazine.html goesforever from the forum made the cover he is in Ohio, maybe you next with the finds from new machine. The ground here is half froze kind of wet and mushy, muddy seen some grass hope to see more.Maybe by weekend a lot will melt enough to a least cover some ground.:detecting::thumbup:

[attachment 154663 DSCF4322.JPG] Went to school yard found 40x80 spot no snow this is what i found.Thought you would have been out today looking for a spot:detecting::shrug:

Wet soil is great for finding things conductivity seems a little better. Although it is messy, but worth the effort. It probably hit 60 today and I managed to do some much needed yard work. I might get out and swing the machine tommorrow. It doesn't take much grass to do some dirt fishing. Good luck on the next one. Ron :super:
