HEY PETE-Hows Sherry doing??How about your new job??What about Casey??Let us know,friend!!!

Got an email the other day Mike about detecting in Petoski. That's the only email besides this one I have gotten. Having just started work - and no written work schedule I didn't know when I have days off or when to get to work or even when to go home...it has been confusing to say the least.

I spent almost 8 hours today trying to round up 120 'good' chairs...that will be moved from this hotel to another one and we will get there not so great chairs in return. In 251 rooms I barely met the quota. Tomorrow I will ne getting the truck, helping in moving all these chairs down stairs - we have no elevator and the dolly is useless.

I have to work weekends so I miss church every Sunday....can this be what God wants????

I am so exhausted. I have even gotten behind on my lessons for the mentoring course and the Bible study of the cross. I barely have time to reply to the forum.

With Casey moving out it broke Sherry's heart and even when she calls Casey still treats her Mom like she is nothing...everyone else is more important. Kills me to see Sherry crushed by her own daughter.

We spent the whole day yesterday converting Casey's old bedroom into Sherry's music room and the living room too. The room Sherry had will be mine to use for my detectors and such...if I ever have time to get that done.

Still trying to help Sherry with her bird food business and today had little time for getting anything done...such as eat before work or find my work clothes were in the washer - still wet and not ready for me when I had to go to work.

Am I mad at you, Mike? I could never be mad at you. I don't read all the stuff on the forum.
I went into the shop this morning to help Sherry with her business of bird food then when all was ready for the post office I had to run there then to Rite-Aid, then to work at 1 PM.

I keep falling asleep when I am typing....even this email I fell asleep a couple times. I haven't checked the forum yet tonight. I made it a point to post about the brother with cancer in his kidneys as I knew he needed prayers.

I just am not keeping all things together...I haven't even looked at the bills in the past month and know I need to get that done...and then wonder if I will have any time off to go to Roscommon to pay our car insurance. Just a hectic time for us...even our dogs are acting strange with the weather...they never got scared before but now they just run crazy with the nasty weather. And toss in a Mother-in-law who has needs for cigarettes and diet coke and makes comments about suicide....well we have a full plate. Doesn't mean we hate anyone just not time to even talk to each other.llllllllllllllllllll opps fell asleep again.

GOd bless you all

Pete

wow Pete sory to hear about all this, I will be praying for you. I am sure God will have a better job for you, I do not believe it is his will for you to continually miss church on sunday.

Pete no job is worth killing yourself over. You must slow down and take care of necessary business or it will all fall apart quicker than you know. I know you don't have time for prayer, but right now I think prayer and some rest is the best medicine and in that order.

It sounds like that hotel can't keep its people because they work them to death. I think it would be a good idea to tell them you want a full disclosure as to what your work schedule is and when your days off are.

"Most" states require that you be given time off to attend religious services. I don't know about your state, if they are a good employer they will work with you. They should have told you when you got the job exactly your work schedule and days off are.

Take care of yourself Pete! Bad employers will burn their people out then just grab another and mess them over also. It sounds to me like you got hired by one of them. Check with your state employment office as to your rights and their responsibilities.

I'll keep you in my prayers.
Mark
