Hey Y'all!

Mike sent me an email and it jolted me out of my fog. lol Figured I oughta take advantage of the break and catch up a little. As always, just because I haven't been checking in daily, doesn't mean I'm not praying for all of you! :)

As you know, with it being summer, I have had a lot more than usual to tend to. Several yards to cut and about a million & one other things to do. Tim had to have surgery on his foot that kept him completely helpless (UGH... don't even get me started....) so I had it all to do by myself, along with all of his chores and having to wait on him hand and foot - on top of my chores, work, family to see to, and the list goes on and on. He is finally up and moving now, thank God! It was either time for him to get up or start making his funeral arrangements, cause I was just about ready to ki.... well, you know what I mean.

I've been so busy that I guess I really don't even have anything to talk or tell about. Yeah, I know; some of you are thinking something must be wrong if I don't have something to gab about! lol Which, I guess does bring this to mind; there have been a handful of you who have encouraged me to write a book about local stories and history. I never really even considered it, but recently I've had a push from several folks around home to do that! I'm thinking it over and will let you know what I decide. The answer will probably be 'no', but I'm thinkin bout it. ;-)

Its about time you got back on here. Glad Tim is better.

Happy to hear Tim is 'Up & at Um' and delighted to read you're thinking of writing a book about your area's history. I think it's a great idea! There's got to be a lot of people who've not seen it on paper, so do give it some serious thought. I know it's a lot of work but you'll be so happy when your book is completed. You 'Go Girl!

Glorry Hallelujah, glad to have you posting again and back with us, Lisa! Sorry, to hear about all the work plus doing Tim's, also, and most men are worse than babies when it comes to taking care of them in such a situation as surgery, sickness and etc. I understand he had either get better or prepare for his funeral....Now that is enough to get anybody going and on the ball in recovering and helping with the chores! I've been thinking about you and the school teaching job and wondering how it is going for you? Remember, no matter how dark things seem to be, there's always the Spiritual Light of Jesus to give us favor in all things and bring us into His joy unspeakable and full of glory! Still praying and may you not give up on this special job waiting just for you to be filled with a godly teacher, who loves children and her job of teaching! Keep praying and giving God praise and thanking Jesus, for only the obstacles of satan through God's Spiritual power will move mountains out of our way by true faithfulness, prayers and supplications of His saints! Amen!

Don't stay away so often and thank you for all your prayers! Always put God first and He will work miracles in your and your families' lives and work all things together for the good of those who love God and are the called according to His purpose! May God keep showering you and all my brothers and sisters with blessings for provision, protection and everlasting life in His glorious Kingdom someday! Amen!

you didn't kill Tim  I do know what you mean about being busy. When a mate is down someone has to pick up where they left off. Reminds me:

Ecc 4:9 Two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labor.
Ecc 4:10 For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falleth; for he hath not another to help him up.
Ecc 4:11 Again, if two lie together, then they have heat: but how can one be warm alone?
Ecc 4:12 And if one prevail against him, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken.

(Best of all is when the 3rd is God....NOTHING can break that cord then)

God bless you and yours. May life get a little easier now for you.

Keep on keeping on and stop by when you can.
God bless

Hey, traveling Mike that reminds me of the old saying, Man works from sunup to sunset, but a woman's work is never done! No truer words said by human kind, me thinks! May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty
