It's been awhile since I've been on. Hope everyone has been well ;) Loren started school last Thursday and has been doing great. She likes school and is excited to be dropped off every morning. I sure pray that continues...lol. I start back to school next week myself and am looking forward to it as well. Hopefully just two more semesters to go!! Haven't felt too good the past week...been having some severe tooth pain and it has taken me a week to get into my dentist. I go in the morning and am looking forward to being pain-free. I'm a bit of a chicken when it comes to going to the dentist, but being in such pain makes me a bit more brave. To top things off, I managed to get into poison ivy last weekend and am broken out from that pretty badly. I've been an itchy, hurting, grouchy mess. Poor Loren and Travis.

We can be dentist buddies! I go in in the morning also! Just a check up for me though!
Glad Loren is doing well in school. Praying the pain goes away!

Prayers for the toothache pain and for your poison ivy....Oh, do I feel for you, as I am very allergic to it and know how sick and itchy it can be! I swell up and have blisters and very itchy and miserable but not supposed to scratch! Yeh, right!! :help:  Prayers for God's Blessings for yours and Loren's school days, also, for good times and much learning! Amen! Ma Betty

Thank you, Mike. Good luck with your check-up! I'm thinking I'm going for an extraction or root-canal....I've been on antibiotics for a week, so hopefully he can work on me tomorrow. Geez. Thank goodness for insurance. Loren told me last night she thought she was going to be a teacher...lol. Yes, I would say she is lovin' being a school girl.

Thank you, Ma! Maybe you should pray for Travis, I'm not gonna lie, I just have not been myself this week. I feel like my whole body is irritated. My whole jaw hurts and I've had pain running to my ear...not to mention the poison ivy. Blech! I don't like to take pain meds (never have, really), so I've been taking one extra strength tylenol at a time to kick the pain, plus benadryl for the poison ivy. I've just been trying to manage and get through it best I can.

from you. The dentist is always terrible for me. Fortunately, not many problems over the years. Your 2 semesters will fly by. Good luck, Steve in so az

Good Morning Liz,
You will be in my prayers for healing; both for the poison ivy and the dentist appointment. May God bless you and yours today and always. Amen.

Thank you, SeniorSeeker. The prayers mean so much! It has been quite a morning...whew! I had one tooth filled and then a pulpotomy on another (partial root canal). My tooth had roots that extended into my sinus cavity making things more difficult as it's harder to tell about infection around the roots. My dentist is unsure of whether this will be successful or not...he said I may be back in a couple of months for a complete root canal. Geez, I would have almost prefered that to start with, but he didn't give me the option and didn't discuss until the procedure was over. I am on another antibiotic because he said it would be easily infected and was already suspicious. I am in pain, but I have some pain pills if need be. Please pray for no more infection....On a positive note, I sure did enjoy watching him work and learn his technique...makes me feel good that I am going into the right field for me. Too bad I hate being a patient so much!!! HA!

Dear God, Please move upon Liz' teeth and her poison ivy and let complete healing be done in the name of Jesus with no more infection or misery from the itching! And Dear Lord please give Travis and Loren peace with understanding while giving Liz the sympathy and help that she needs at this time of sickness and pain! We thank You, dear Father, for Your mercy and grace to Liz and family! Amen! Ma Betty

Oh Rick, I'm praying for you! So far, I'm not much better yet. Have a 700 dollar tooth so far and I'm afraid it's going to get more expensive. Praying your tooth is an easy and inexpensive fix!

Hi Liz, I hope God is good and will spare you from having more expenses with the tooth, but my cousin in MS had a root canal and a crown a few years ago and it cost her $1,000.00 plus...she had to put it on a credit card as she lives on SS, too, but her children help her, where I have to help mine! May God move and do the healing on your tooth and the poison ivy! You sure have to be miserable, but Jesus will see you through these trials, too, by leaning on and trusting in Him, for He never leaves nor forsakes His own! Amen! Praise God for answering prayers for Loren and beginning school, as she is doing much better for your nerves to be calmer! Glad all worked out for her and it will for you, also! Amen! Ma Betty

Hey, Ma! Thanks. To be perfectly honest, the money is the LAST thing on my mind right now. God has blessed us with the money to take care of it....we can't throw money around, but we are fine to take care of our bills and any emergencies that come up. I am just worried about the stinkin' pain...I have never had anything like this before....I have sit and cried most of the day....the pain meds haven't helped and I haven't slept for 8 days. To be honest, I am a bit ticked that my dentist didn't do a complete root canal to start with and I can't understand why. I honestly do not believe it was a ploy to keep me coming back and get more money, but one never really knows. A evil world we live in. I'm just praying for patience and faith in my dr....and that relief will come soon! God hasn't failed me before and he isn't/won't now either.

exposed nerve in the tooth. It could be that there may be a smalll amount of infection in it and that is why he did not do the root canal. He injected the antibiotics directly into the tooth cavity if this is the case. It is also why your in agony. I know, I've been through it several times. It is maddeningly consuming. You can go tyo an ER and they could do it right there and give you better meds for your pain. They can also pull it. Then your options are a plkate or a direct implant. I hope this helps. Let us knoiw ok. Praying for you. PEACE:RONB :|
