Hi guys, i have had my T2 for a few months now and live in the UK. Up to now the T2 hasnt produced anything outstanding but i only use it from time to time. Having other machines i rotate them to give em all a shot at finding the goodies. So far with the T2 its best and only finds of note are 2 saxon polyhedral pins and a medieval merchants ring ( 15 century ). No coins of any type have turned up while using the T2 although i hope it breaks its duck soon. It would seem i have been unfortunate and picked up a not so good one as the other UK users are getting much better performance from theirs than i am from mine mainly with depth, levels of sensitivity and running in all metal which is just far to unstable on mine and noisy. Hope things get better or it will end up as just an ornament

Hi argentum40, this is Dick from NC (North Catalina-USA). I've had mine for about 2 months also and I wouldn't trade it for anything. I hunt civil was sites and have found some interesting things. The one thing that you need to keep in mind about the T2 is it will go deep. I dug a Budwiser can at 20 inches and civil war bullets at 6 to 12 inches. I relic hunt in discriminate mode with sensitivity as high as I can get it usually 80 - 90, disc level 10, and tone 2+. If I get a whisper of a signal and I think something is there but really not sure I will pinpiont it and if I get a good pinpoint I will dig it. You don't even have to get a good signal, if you even think something is there pinpoint it and if something is there it will sound off. I have dug items consistently at 8 to 12 inches, bigger items deeper. Don't under estimate the T2.. I've used a Minelab Explorer XS for the last 8 years, and the T2 for only 2 months and I prefer the T2 for relic hunting. The Explorer for the beach for those deep targets. The T2 out shines the Explorer for depth by a long shot. I really haven't tried the all metal mode yet. I've hunted I guess a good full 3 to 4 days and have just changed the batt. When you really get use to the T2 it will amaze you. Keep everybody informed of you finds and how well you like the T2. Happy hunting.
