To earthsea; No God, No Brainer ???
Hi; Although I respect the fact that you are entitled to your opinion or view here is mine in regards to there being or not being "No God". :
Since the beginning of Time "MAN" has worshiped or honored some form of deity and even painted scenes in worship or honor of those things that "Man" considered Sacred.He painted scenes of the Sun, Animals etc.. as Time progressed Man became more refined in his methods of worship, including painting, and his means of worshiping or honoring that which he considered Sacred or Godly, if you will.Hence since the beginning of Time MAN ha considered that there is in fact some Form of deity to be worshiped. As Time progressed even more Man began giving these deity's Names like Atun, The Sun God on up to Isis, Jesus, Buddha, Mohamed, etc..Hence it is that since the beginning of Time that MAN as a Species has worshipped some Form of "God". It is with this that I can't help wonder why it is that you say there is NO GOD ?? For if as you said there is NO GOD then you by proxy are saying that you yourself do not believe in Man either and thus render yourself as no longer being a Man.Thus this leaves me and everyone else who do consider themselves to be Man or Men to wonder just what kind of Species you really are. Are you a new kind of Species that has lain dormant and thus undiscovered before Mans very eyes ??? Or have you in effect or are you a true God in your own Right ?? I can't but wonder these things and many others. You are, by your own accord, an Artist. Hence, what is it you are truly painting ?? Are you painting scenes of those things which you see every day just like the MAN of old ?? Or, are you painting scenes that exist in the very Universe that you, by proxy, have created yourself ?? If so would you please tell the rest of us Men what kind of Universe are you living in ?? Can we "truly" see it ?? If you are painting scenes of things like the Sun, Animals or Man do you do so out of self reverence or boredom?? I find it strange that a Man called C.S. Lewis once said " I believe in Christianity as surely as I see the Sun. For by it I do not see just it. But rather by it I can see all else." What is it that you see ?? Do you paint the Sun so you can see yourself or is it that by the Sun you can see all else like Animals or Man ??? If you can see the other Species we call Man what are you really looking at ??? Do you see a different creature called Man or do you see yourself ?? If you must use or need the Sun to see all else then you can not be a self made God as you claim by your statements for if you were a real God then you would not "need" the Sun to "see" and you would have no other need to see Animals or the strange creature called Man. A real God would not need to see these things because He would have already known what these things "looked" like before He created them hence He would no longer need the Sun either. Thus it is that He would have no need to paint anything else since to Him it would be a Form of Self worship and thus pointless. That must truly be a very dark place to exist in.
In closing, as I said you are entitled to your opinions or views but if you choose to foist these views on us "Men" please be sure you can answer the above queried questions I posed, for if you can not then you are not a God yourself and your statement of "No God, No Brainer" is false as well. Hence there MUST be a God. !!!! That to me is a No Brainer. !!!
