Hi folks! Anyone in the Wisconsin dells area?

Hi guys! New to this site and the hobby. Been wanting to get into this for years but never pulled the trigger. Finally after reading your posts and studying detectors I just went out and bought a Garrett 2500. I live in the Wisconsin dells area of Wisconsin and was wondering if anyone was from this area. Would like to find someone to detect with and show me the ropes or someone wanting to learn along with my self. I have went out for the first couple of times this week and found many newer coins. I think i could have found many more but still trying to understand this detector. Its in coins mood and it seemed everywhere i went i was detecting things. I read the manual and new coin hunting book and that seemed to help me out quit a bit. I hope there is some one on this site that can answer some of my questions as i try and become good at this.

Thanks MIKE

I'm a bit north of you. I live in Langlade county about 22 miles north of Antigo in a small town called Lily. Don't blink or you might drive through it without realizing.
