I've been testing the proto and production model for sometime now and the Pro-Pointer as it is aptly named is one handy instrument and tough as nails. There is a field test and review on it over on the Garrett Forum if you wish to take a peek. Here's a pic of it and a lucky find I made while testing it. Thanks for looking.

Congrats on the silver halves! Great find!
That pinpoiter looks pretty good. I watched the video. It appears to be well built. The only thing I wish it had for the price is completely water proof.

It's pretty close. I would imagine if a feller put a piece of waterproof tape over the tiny speaker opening it would then be pretty well waterproof. Course neither I nor Garrett can recommend that.
