Hi Folks; My Kids Bike was Stolen Today. !!!

BARKER

New member
Some theif stole my kids bike today even though itwas locked up. They broke the post it was locked to and then Stole it. She is heart broken and I'm ticked not over the bike but rather that it hurt my kid. Especially on Thankgsgiving. Yes i know I should "forgive and forget" but it just burns me.I'm going to pray about it. I will Report it to the Police tommorow. 2 weeks ago some idiots literally Computer hacked into my Bank Account and stole $311.00 from my Account. They wrote 7 CHECKS against my Account. Thing is I have a SAVINGS Account. I haven't written a CHECK in over a DECADE.!!!!!! Then they also did 9 Electronic ACH WITHDRAWALS from my Account. The stupid Bank HONORED THEM. They also cashed 3 of the 7 Checks they wrote against my Account. How do you figure. These guys call themselves Platinum Online Group or Platinum Services or USA Credit. They are totally bogus. I Reported this to the Bank immediately, I also filed a Police Report and I have to contact the FBI and the AG's Office this Monday. It's like something out of a James Bond Movie. I have not said anything to you guys before now because I wanted to get everything together in one batch legal wise.I don't know but I do know that God has something better in store for us. She can't take much more and she's a tough kid. Anyway I'll let you know what happens here. I'm going to
go eat. PEACE:RONB

I understand how you feel. Been there myself (the theft of an item from my house and also on the night of one Thanksgiving our car along with many others were entered and almost everything of any value was taken.) Best part was the thief who got into the cars in our neighborhood was not bright enough to realize he was walking in fresh snow - going from his house to the cars and back to his house. They really didn't need the tracking dog but brought one in. Not everything was returned. A tool set my Dad had given me was never returned and this never went to court and he never paid restitution either.

The other theft was the American flag I was flying from the corner of my porch. Great way to treat a Veteran.

God knows who did the evil deeds in this world and unless they repent they will be held accountable - and to steal from a child....Jesus said what you do to the least of these you have done unto me. God have mercy on their souls.

Well, all I can say is when it rains it pours as satan is sure attacking you and your daughter...but stand strong in faith and do what you need to do with the law's help and i have to say those bank people are idiots! Someone washed my name off one of my payment checks stolen from my mailbox and used it on another check making it look like I was getting some money from someone who had authority over me and was providing me some money! The branch bank cashed it at another location and the person(s) didn't even have their ID with them to show proof that they were supposedly me (my ID is on file)! Well, it wasn't my fault and the bank had to give me back the money and not hold me responsible for it was the bank teller's fault who was working the drive through from inside the bank! No ID to prove who you are, no checks cashed! Go after the bank or credit company and get your monies back! This is wrong and theft must be stopped no matter in what form it comes in like stealing from your account and stealing your daughter's bike! You both are in my prayers that God will intervene in this and get everything straightened out, the thief caught and everything back on the right track....Jesus' straight and narrow way! The Christians on this forum are sure having their faiths tested but don't let satan win, as we are winners in Christ Jesus! Amen! Ma Betty

I hope it all works out for the best.

I once lived in a not so nice neighborhood and people stole and sold stuff (not theirs) to the hock shops and others. A tip: Put inside the handle bar where the hand grip is (remove the hand grip) a business card or similar piece of paper in a ziplock baggie. The paper or card should have your name and address on it. The baggie will protect the paper or card from weather.

If your bicycle is found by you (and supposing it was registered with the police the decal may have been scraped off. Sometimes someone will file off the serial number underneath the bike - but few if any will think about there being proof it is yours in the handle bars.

Used to tell people to drop a business card into the door in case a car was stolen since serial numbers have been changed by unscrupulous people.

I am guessing someone either stole your daughters bike to sell for drugs or thought it would make a nice gift for their little girl.....but then how many people break locks or break equipment (or carry around bolt cutters) in their cars unless they use them alot.
