hi guy's have been loking at 700,705 or safari quatro or?

Hi guys ,
have been looking into these four 705 700 or safari quatro or if any one can suggest a better one.
I am a keen coin jewellery hobbyist I have a gold detector XT1700 MINELAB and i have been finding everything and i meen everything.
my detector will tell me if it's ferrous but i still like to dig any way would like to venture into a detector made for my needs eg Discrimination , Notching out etc..
A serious coin jewellery detector ,

just got back from a hunt 3 or 4 hours ago come up with my first gold ring 18 ct
2.5 hr hunt total find 3x 5cent in one hole total 6x ,3x 20 cent ,1x 50 cent and 1 dollar coin plus the gold ring
still digging and loving it
thanks for all your info guys all my finds are going to the next detector

well i have the safari and love it its great for coins and jewlery just havent found gold yet but tons of rings and chains and coins

Hey Jeff, glad you are enjoying the digging. Couldn't help you with you original question because I only have the Safari, probably the same with most on this forum. Not that we were ignoring you. Love my Safari by the way. Still learning and my finds continue to increase.

best bang for your buck right now is a quattro.they're going off at around $400 in excellent condition. i've used one and it's a top shelf unit

I noticed you found several matchbox or similar little autos. I have found so many of these in kiddie parks I am sick of diging them! I found 16 of them in one little sand box the first year I was detecting! I have 5 grandaughters and 1 grandson and they thankfully take them off my hands. Looks like you are doing fine with your present detector. Newer isn't always better, but you might want some more knobs and things to fool with. The higher up you go on the price scale, the more bells and whistles you find. Onus
