she had to go to the dr and get a shot, antibiotics and cough syrup for her bad case of Bronchitis...but please pray that she doesn't get pnuemonia, as she and Troy both had car trouble and had to walk rather far today in the cold, wet and windy weather today...sure has turned cooler...47 degrees F right now in St. Louis, MO!
Now this is what has happend since I talked to her early last week! Tami has (or had) a used black Mustang car she really liked and had always wanted to drive...Well she and Troy were out riding in it and he was driving when the car overheated and cracked the block...so no more car until a motor is replaced if Troy can see to it getting done! I thought he had the 77 Merc running now but hasn't done anything with it, so still won't keep running after it starts...so it isn't any of use right now! Then Tami is using Troy's truck to drive back and forth to work about 30 or less miles to Cape Girardeau from Benton where they live and Troy is using (or was) his brother-in-law's truck! The truck broke down and he called Tami to come pick him up when she left work....BUT..on the way there Troy's truck broke down on the way and sitting in a car getting cold...a policeman stopped and took her to the service station across from I-55 where she turns off to go home! Troy walked to where she was and then they both walked home which is not real close for them! Sure hope and pray Tami doesn't take bronichal pneumonia on top of being so sick! She doesn't go to work until Friday, so hopefully Troy will have one of the rigs repaired for driving, otherwise she might lose her job, as they are wanting her to quit anyway and this would be a good excuse for Victorian Inn to do so!
I think I wrote about my getting a new seat belt for the car and the trouble I went through and of David's SUV seal trouble that could not be repaired and having to trade it in on another SUV with 69,000 miles on it but blessed with no car payment by trading even! Then with the hailstorm we had a few month ago...his guttering and roof was damaged so getting money from Ins Co for that and has a crack in his Living Rm ceiling going straight across that a friend is going to take care of for $250.00! He is having his roof replaced, too! So he's had his problems, too! Ya think ole satan aint doing what ever he can to destroy homes and lives??? Oh, yes he is, for he only has a short time and then he will be cast away for a 1000 years and then cast into the Lake of Fire to be out of our lives forever and ever! But in all of this....none of us is yelling, screaming, cursing or ranting about what is happening in our lives...for my son is a good person though not saved and Tamii and I have Jesus' love and His peace in our minds! The only one probably ranting is Troy, for the loses his temper easily and they lack money to take care of the problems that seem to come by droves....When it rains it poors!
