hi

BenjyH

New member
right now i have a tracker IV and was wondering which model would be a good upgrade from this one? I was thinking of the time ranger, but I'm not sure. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Benjy

Welcome to the forum. Couple of questions is how much are you wanting to spend ? What kind of hunting are you wanting to do ( relic, coinshooting, all, etc). Any particular features that you want ? Think on what will satisfy you the next five years.

Get the F4 if your budget can handle the $$.

2nd..... Great machine. Good videos on youtube.

i mostly go coin/jewelry hunting and when i can i go relic hunting. Depending on whether i get a job this summer limits how much i can spend.

Ok, great. Manual ground balance would be a good option. F4 would be a good upgrade. Read the reviews on manual ground balance machines.

thanks, yea i really dont know what i should upgrade to. Save the money for a F4 or save up more for something like a MXT?

I haven't done too much comparisons in the high end machines I really look at the review like from metaldetectorreviews.net or kellyco. If you want to go higher than an F4. The F5 is getting great reviews. One thing I have realized is weight of the detector makes a difference.
