Hope you guys get to feeling better. That crud hangs on a bit. I started feeling better at about 1 1/2 week but not 100% till full 2 wks.
My wife thought she felt better yesterday then full blown worse than she was.

I've heard anywhere from 1 1/2 to 3 weeks or longer if you get secondary infections or pneumonia. The flu should go about 2 and if it is of the swine variety hits the respitory pretty hard.

I know i said something about being bundled up like a Ninja only my eyes could be seen. Was coughing so much I put a scarf around my mouth to keep from spreading germs to Leelan and Casey. I went and hid in the bedroom to gwt away from everyone. I noticed my vision was blurry when I wrote...hence the jibberish. Sicker than I thought. Later I realized everything was blurry because I didn't have my glasses on. DOH

I got up this morning and took me well over an hour to do what I normally could do...the crutches dont't help. The coughing raises heck hit the hernia. Everything causes trouble with the knee. BTW seems the company finally got Workmen's Comp Insurance. Stll no MRI as yet scheduled.

Time to head to work. Was only allowed to work a half day yesterday. Have been keeping somethingn over mh mouth when around others

It seems satan is really trying to get you and Sherry to turn away from God and he is hitting yoiu both hard from all sides, but stay with Jesus and keep the faith that He will heal and protect you when staying on the right path and following Him in His glorious light! Don't give up for that is what the devil wants! Praise the Lord that the company finally got Workmen's Comp Ins. and hope it covers you on your knee injury! and while there the doc said a drug store called and said they had gotten in a fresh supply of Tamaflu...a capsule to help fight the flu. So she prescribed it for Sherry (she is doing better - getting better each day) and Sherry mentioned I was getting it too...so the doc prescribed it for me too. I'm about 3 days into this 5 day drug. (Twice a day for 5 days....10 capsules) and I am doing better though not out of the woods so to say. But talk about a God who loves us. His timing is better than ours...they just got notified they had the drug (so we could get it before they ran out of it) ...we both were able to get it - not just Sherry...and Sherry asked if I noticed the price when we signed for the drug (I didn't) - she said it was over $500 for each of us. We paid NOTHING!!!!

Glory to God and thanks for again meeting our needs...and doing it for free too....why can't everyone see a marvelous God and want Him for their own??

Pete, Praise God for answered prayers and for His mercy and grace for you and Sherry! I am glad you both are getting better, but don't rush into doing too much too soon, as a relapse could happen making the flu even worse than before! God Bless! Betty
