Hipmount kit

DrBobinMO

Member
After a several year layoff from detecting for health reasons, my dad is ready to get back in the swing of things. He just got a new E-Trac (was and Explorer user for years) but, as expected, is not as strong as he used to be.

I know there were a few hipmount kits out there years ago and I am looking for info on them. I would really like to get one to help him out.

Any info will be appreciated.

was one producer who make it ,but not anymore. it was handle to connect original minelab explorer shaft and 1m. or a bit more extension cable. extension cable you can buy 1m. from coilteck or make your self low loss video cable, some people have tested one metre video cable and said that no any loss on detector performance.

I think weight has always been a serious consideration for the Explorer machines. You would think ML would listen and say thats a simple fix much like the SOV. Are you listening ML?? They could sell a ton of those kits.
