I thought about this beach but always drove past. I decided to stop and was I glad I did. I pulled all this clad in one hour plus this great penny. I'm going back I hope there may be a ring or two hanging around!!!!!!!!

I went by a beach for years that we all knew about, and everyone thought had been dredged to a depth of 10 feet.
When I stopped, (FINALLY), this last summer, I was surprised to see kids wading around waist deep. It had been filled back in some years ago.
I ended up finding three gold rings, and a 1902 Morgan silver dollar during half a dozen really great hunts.Imagine what they dredged out.
Ya never know. Good luck!

I am new to metal detecting somewhat. Looking for a dector that will be great for gold nuggets, and still be good up and down Cooks Inlet in Alaska where I will be living . There are so many that claim so much it is hard to separate good from bull. Looking in the 600.00 on up dectors. What is opinion.

jcham is that a ring above the Quarters in the pic.? Looks like you got a good workout, keep at it, my guess no one has been detecting there.
