it is my second best best jewelry find so far. I hit a spot where last year I found an 1865 IH. i did manage some small copper and brass relics with the trusty X5, but no real goodies. I figured I would leave because I knew I was heading up to Plattsburgh and may get a chance at some War of 1812 buttons. Well I couldn'e resist and hit a patch of the green where I found a beautiful ornate silver toe ring or children's ring. I set the disc real high so it would still pick up IH's but not pull tabs. Well I got a nice silver signal and pulled out the sweet earing which is the size of my thumbnail.
I also included some other finds as well from the other couple of times I have been out this season. The artillery tool, belt tip, etc. came from Plattsburgh today. Happy Easter everyone.

Can anyone ID the thing that looks like it went over a tassel/rope etc. I thought it may be for the tassel on a guideon flag or for a decoration
