Hope the "Upgrade" from ACE250 to GTI1500 was worth it!

Couldn't wait for Garrett to come out with a new machine so traded in ACE250 for GTI 1500 - the 250 sure was a good machine and hope I didnt make a mistake buying into old technology - but I only hunt for coins so hope it works out ok.......

You'll clean up. I made a similar upgrade and I do a whole heap better with my 2500 than I did with my 250. I'm not knocking the 250 either, which I think is a great machine. If you were at all proficient with the 250, you'll pick up the differences on the 1500 very quickly.

Chris

I'm still hoping for a new machine. I've been saving my clad for most of 2008 and all of 2009 and have quite a pile.

Well the 1500 might be old but its imaging feature is awesome which only Garrett has. You'll be hard pressed to do without when you get used to it.

i have a 1500 and a 250. i don't remember the last time i had the 250 out. mainly because of the imaging feature. i think you will like the 1500. i should get the 250 out and use it, i enjoyed using it every time i had it out. found a lot of coins with it.

The 1500 was specifically designed for coinshooting and is about the best out there. It's a favorite of several Garrett folks and my favorite.

Bill.
