Last night at work was the last night I might be seeing some of my co-workers for a long time,being that they shut down 2nd shift and moved us all to other jobs.Just before quitting time;a younger co-worker of mine(in his 30s,married,with kids)told me his wife is "tryin to drag him to church this weekend"-his wife goes,as does their kids...WELL;LET ME TELL YA:Right there I believe the LORD opened the door,and said OK STEVE-LET HIM HAVE IT!!!And,I DID......NOW,this man has a lot of areas in his life that are well-known as being not so good(WHOM among us does NOT??
);and I have learned from personal experience that if you go on and on about the LORD,people can become deaf..SO I gave him the condensed version that Im a church council member,and how good HE has been to me.I also told him make sure the Church you attend has as its core teaching the true message of the Gospel of God's Son,Jesus Christ;that HE is the Only True Way to Eternal Life...Then,I had another thought given to me by the Almghty,and I told my co-worker "You know,look at it this way-your wife trying to get you into church MAY be the way the LORD is calling for you-through your wife"...He said "you know,thats a good way to look at it"...I dont know if he was trying to humor me or not;but he was AWFULLY QUIET after that...A "coincidience" that he talked to me about the LORD at that very place and time??When he has hardly EVER talked to me about ANYTHING before?? NOPE......
