<center> Hi folks!
Had a super day detecting the fort again yesterday
Started the day off around Noon hunting across the street from the old baseball field.
Ain't I a handsome chap?

A few hours later, and a few wheat pennies dug, I finally managed to come across this nice merc at 3" deep
About a half hour later, I got a 78 reading thinking it was another wheat or clad penny at 5". Started digging the target, but ran into a tree root a few inches down. Not discouraged, I started digging around the root and under but still no target even though it still pinpointed underneith the root.
Was just about to give up digging thinking it was a hot rock or trash when out pops this
My first ever seated dime after 4 years of detecting
The pic was taken at the house 'cause my camera started acting up and I got a little frustrated
I tell ya folks, this dime took me by surprise to say the least it caused me to do the popular AU break dance Bubba knows so well
Reverse
As I was leaving the woods with a smile on my face, I dug my last silver coin for the day. A '56 rosie
Took my finds home and here they are before and after cleaning
Can't forget about the wheats
That's it folks!
Thanks for looking and HH......James
