Hot and dry it is down here. I haven't given up digging yet, though. Was on the old housing site at 6 this morning and lasted until 9. Worked spots with thick grass for a little easier digging. Namely, the three or so feet out from side walks. For my 3 hours, I got the 42d Merc, small 925 silver ring, 4 wheat cents and a few more modern coins. In the picture is some sort of a cap that was in the same hole as the clad quarter. Out of the ground it rang in at 84-85 and was about an inch deeper then the quarter. The small ring was a 80-81 reading. Had the Omega with the 5" coil on and sen 99, disc 1, d3 tones and g b of 57-61. HH jim tn
