General Rules

The Finds Treasure Forum Classifieds is for individual use only with the exception of banner advertising buyers. Those buyers may advertise their traded in, discontinued models, etc.

Individual sellers may post their normal unwanted detectors, or accessories in assigned classified forums, but they  cannot exceed (1) one item in a (3) three month period for each classified forum.

Only For Sale, For Trade, or Wanted to Buy ads are allowed.

Only Forum Members Registered for  90 days or longer that have more than 24 significant posts in our other forums, may post For Sale or Trade ads.

Rules for Non Sponsoring Sellers:

  • Items for sale, or for trade, should be your own personal property and be accurately described.
  • Your for sale or trade post should be self contained, without references to another site where you may also have it for sale.
  • Do not put links to eBay.
  • Do not put links to other forums where you may also have the same item for sale or trade.
  • Dealers are not allowed to post in Classifieds unless they are a sponsor.

Advertisements not adhering to the above rules will be deleted without warning or notification.

We have just added this New Scoop to our scoop page. This is the Nicest Stainless Scoop of this Style I have ever seen. Here are the specs for it:

<p>PIRATE STAINLESS STEEL WATER SCOOP<p>

100% Stainless Steel, both basket and handle for strength and durability<p>
All holes are 1/2 inch diameter for quick drain and recovery (dimes captured) additional holes<p>
Basket is Super size: 6 1/2 inches tall and wide, and 12 inches long.
Scoop basket is 14 gauge (.083)<p>
The top plate of the basket is thicker (3/16) to take the stresses of digging<p>
Overall height is 48 inches, Handle is 40 inches long, 1 1/4 inch diameter and 16 gauge thick<p>
Weight is approximately 5.8 lbs.<p>
All welds are 100% penetration<p>
Back/kick plate is very strong, with a stamped-in permanent non-skid surface and has built in angulation for ease of digging<p>

Handle grip is vinyl and is notched<p>

Second handle is lightweight durable plastic; and also is detachable
Support bar for strength is 1/4 x 1 gusset which is stronger than a tube gusset<p>

Highest quality material and fabrication<p>

ELECTRO-POLISHED<p>

Our scoops are electro-polished. This is a process where they go through a chemical bath(dip tanks)with an electrical current and temperature controlled. Whenever you fabricate stainless, especially welding, you should passivate(electro-polish)the stainless to restore its characteristics. The benefits are a PRISTINE FINISH,EXTRA HARDNESS,EXTRA CORROSION RESISTANCE. Most OTHER stainless scoops on the market are just painted in the weld area.<p>
