Hot-rocks or minerals?

I am having problems with my deus in this area. I have it running deep, with sens about 90, tx 3, no disc, reach 0, silen -1, ground balance at factory 90, freq 12. Set up this way it can get really deep, but it will also sound off on either minerals or hot rocks. But when I dig it up the rocks want sound off. It will read any where from 99 to 90 on meter.
I started searching for post on here about that subject. I found some info that said put sens about 85 and tx at 1. I did this and it did help a little. I then put disc at 8.7 and that helps also, but you loose some of that depth when you do this. I have tried ground notching, ground tracking and that makes it worse. I have looked at the mineral bar, and tried just about every thing I can think of. Any one have any advice about how you can tell minerals or hot rocks from good targets? I think but not for sure that my soil has pockets of black concentrated sand. Not for sure, but it can sound just like a good target.
Any kind of advice about what to try would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

Your running it very hot, here in the UK we sometimes struggle with "coke" ( burnt coal ) you may want to try a multi-tone set up and listen for the slight differences.

I have been checking lately and I have found that one lower frequency helps out a lot.
Thanks I will try that maybe tomorrow.
