hourglass problem

hey Rick I have a concord AVE VIDEO digital camera. Used to take good pics. Now there is an hourglass on the screen that we can't seem to get rid of. It won't let us do a thing. have tried everything we can think of. Any suggestions?
 
camera is 1 yr old. retail $99 but free when we bought our computer. found the reset and tried every thing but hourglass always pops back up. will call the manufacturer. thanks for the help
