hi i am using a used pi/pro"and would like too know how deep i have too go too find the good thing's in wet sand on the beach and do i have too go out deep in the water--thank's

hello,
it is best to stake out the beach before hunting. observe where people swim in the water, ingress and egress from the water, where people lay down, which part of the beach is more crowded. once you have this down, come back when the beach is not so crowded. one to two hours before low tide if possible. hunt the same spots.
if you want to hunt hardcore, tie up about 40 fishing floaters with 8-10 feet of fishing line. tie these to steel rings and drill holes into some pennys. throw these into spots where people swim. come back after a few days and remember where most of these tend to group together. hunt those spots big time! this trick works but results only hold true for a few weeks or so. do it again every time you think the beaches will be promising.
