How do you do one of them avatar things?

How do you get one of those avatars on? I am not a really smart computer guy. A kindergartner knows more than I do. 'preciate any help.

Click on CONTROL CENTER (right next to "LOG IN/LOG OUT)

On the bottom, left side, under OPTIONS, click on MANAGE MY AVATARS

You should see, in the middle of the page: AVATARS - UPLOAD A NEW AVATAR

Click on the BROWSE button and search your computer (desk top, folders, etc.) for the pic you want. Click on that pic (file), and then click on OPEN. The file name should appear in the box next to the BROWSE button. Click on SUBMIT.

If the upload was successful, you will see "The file has been uploaded successfully" at the top of the page, and the picture/avatar will appear down below. If the upload wasn't successful, read what the error was and try to correct the problem before re-submitting the pic/file again. It could be that your picture/file is too large and you will need to re-size it.

Once you have a picture loaded and it appears below, select the one you want to use by checking the circle to the left of the pic, and then make sure that "Do not display avatars in postings" is NOT selected (make sure it doesn't have a check mark in the box next to it).

Thanks from me also, Lisa, because after getting a new computer I had forgotten how to do the Avatar! Will see if I can upload a pic and have it showing on my posts.....but don't know when, as it takes me awhile to get things done! God Bless! Betty

Thanks for the instruction on avatars. I think it worked. It is amazing that I could actually follow directions. You and Mike from MI are good teachers.
