How does 505 perform with EMI and on wet saltwater beach?

I was wondering how the X-Terra 505 performs around EMI and on wet saltwater beaches? I'm planning on cashing in my gold rings to get me a 2nd metal detector that will perform well at places my 1st metal detector has problems at including places with EMI and wet saltwater beaches.
