Might be a stupid question.I see what others post here, when they've had a "great"day.Sometimes i think it looks a little sparce for a days findings.I purchased a tesoro compadre a few years back for my son we have found lots of silver, clad, and rings with it.Pinpointing with the smaller tesoro coil was a sinch, how is my minelab ,pinpointing etc ,going to compare to this.We routinely find coins at 5 to 7 inches.I see here that a lot of you find coins to about 10 or 12 inches. With the little tesoro's performance.I thought the minelab exp II would be hugely different.Appreciate any feedback, thanks, scott

most here have swung a loop or two. Maybe they can tell you

Howdy:
I use a standard coil on my Elite(Minelab). It definitly has the ability to go deep like 10 inches.Pinpointing is always tricky with many detecters. One method I use and works great is..when I have a target,I simply circle it until the target only rings in the smallest circle.Hope this makes sense it definitly takes the guess work out.You may have a handheld pinpointer if not do buy one.
