I hope as many as possible. I challenge each of us who can get out to do so. You will soon remember how relaxing it is to spend this time with God and the dirt! I will make a post Sunday night to see who all got our between Friday and Sunday. God bless you all with a great weekend, and may it be old, silver or gold! :)

Im going out here in 20 min, I just got home from the night job and I am gonna change clothes and out the door I go. Good luck to all!!!!!!

you all could have been there too. Maybe after church...I'll stop shaking long enough to wander around someone's yard and dig some holes:)

Well I'm back after only 1.5 hours hunt...... Its like a blast furnace out there!!!!!!! It was already 77 degrees by 10am & super humid. I should of gone to the beach instead of to a forest preserve/ park!!!!!! But I managed to snag 43 coins for $4.49.

quarters - 13
dimes - 10
nickels - 1
pennies - 19

You know, I think I will go to the beach tomorrow and try my luck.

Doubt if Cliff and I will, as we are going to try to trim and mow the lawn later this evening and as hot and humid as it is, it will drain all the energy out of us until we will be too tired tomorrw but hopefully not too ill! We won't get it all done but will get some of it.....the front is beginning to look like a hay field, soooo gotta get to it! A nice breeze is blowing but it is probably hot air from Washington, D.C.

Good Luck to all who get out swinging and :detecting: but don't overdo and get a heat stroke!

God Bless!

I just got back. I did some work in the basement this morning, putting in a sound proof studio for my son's drum set. Almost done with it. Rewarded myself for a hard mornings work by going digging. Found an earring, a charm pendant, lots of clad and some trash. Nothing old or fabulous, but had a get time doing it. Plan on going after Church tomorrow with my wife. There is an old park I'd like to scan. Good hunting to those who can make it out.

OK so i skipped out on my yard work and went on a short hunt around the nieghborhood. found about 35 cents in clad and made a new friend who lives right around the corner. she saw me out detecting the street in front of her house and came to say HI. she hunts to really nice lady..after i came back and started a project in my room. only the great Lord knows why i had to start this.more of a mess then before so i will be trying to clean it up before bed..thats my weekend thus far

You sound like me....I start to clean and straighten up something and I end up moving it somewhere else and making a bigger mess or I make a mess where I am and cannot see that I accomplished much at all! Just too much stuff and I don't know what to keep or to throw away, as I'm afraid if I dispose of it I will need it later and then regret getting rid of it! Oh well, we older folks were taught by our depression years parent to not throw anything away, as you might need it and won't have the money to replace it!  So I blame my parents!

Glad you could get out and meet the nice neighbor.....your cleaning up will wait, as I've never seen any elves come and help me! :rolf:

God Bless!
