How Many Here Use Older "Vintage" Detectors?

I don't do much :detecting: any more because of my health and having Osteo-Arthritis but I still have my old Coinmasters....One goes back to 1980's and the Coinmaster 6000 DI.....series 3 was given me by my ex in 1983, I think, and then after divorced I purchased a White's Spectrum XLT...hip mount in Nov of 1994 and have used it ever since! Easy to swing....my arm didn't get tired by my legs did... and found lots of coins and etc with it before pickings got so picked over...but I will still use it if and when I am able to get out :detecting: again, providing the weather is not too cold nor too hot and humid...I have COPD...hard time breathing and cannot stand the heat or the cold! May you be blessed to keep using your detector and finding nice goodies! May God Bless! Amen! Ma Betty

Minelab Explorer II for deep old coins and relics, Fisher CZ-20 for water hunting, and Minelan Exterra 30 for competition hunting.

Up until a year ago, I had an old Whites Coin Master as well. I finally gave it away to a neighbor because he like's to fiddle with things. Water under the bridge'.

I have a Garrett Deepseeker III that was my father in laws. I have used it a lot. He used it for years.

Nope, I don't have an old detector anymore. I got a Troy Shadow x2 when they first came out and kept it for several years. I bought a Garrett Ace 250 (kind of as a back up), and then ended up trading my Shadow x2 for a Minelab X-Terra 70. Love it! I also like my Ace 250. I've been through some pin pointers too, but now have a Garrett Pro Pointer.
