How many I missed......

I spent the day at my mother-in-laws yesterday. She has been pretty ill so I took a turn at keeping an eye on her. To make a long story short in the past I have detected her back yard a couple of times while visiting (while my wife is visiting and I am trying to kill time). I found maybe 15 coins in those two attempts. I thought I covered the 100' x 40' back yard fairly well. Yesterday I had all day so I took my time. I could not believe that I found 30 coins.....the best being 5 wheaties and a 43' merc. Nothing special, the house is only 50 years old. But I learned quite a bit about my technique. I am not covering the ground like I thought and I was and not as slow as I should have been. I am simply amazed.............HH

Hey Rich, sometimes self-taught is the best way.
Overlap those sweeps, take your time and go slow, and it will amaze you like you learned at what you do miss.
Keep up the good work!
