They remind me of a couple of my very first finds. Mine were aluminum pool toy coins, from our own pool, about the same size as a silver dollar with a pirate on one side and a treasure chest on the reverse. It really frustrated me at first but gave me alot of hope for what might be, in the long run. I didn't realize how messy I was until I started digging up all of my own junk. The real silver dollars are still eluding me.
i actually found a real booker t washington half while building a cable tv system in the early 80's. found it in a road side ditch....never could figure out why it was there or how it got there............roger
