How many of you explorer users hunt in iron-mask?

I've heard a few users say they hunt in iron-mask all the time, and some say they hunt in advanced-smart, and then switch to iron mask as a deciding factor on digging a particular target, etc.
Just wondering what mode most of you hunt in.
Thanks

and fast off, until i get in trash.
everything else i pretty much leave set, except sensitivity, which i adjust on a site to site basis.
the nice thing about the explorer is, you can initially set it up to your liking, and then pretty much leave it. i'm referring to threshold, sounds, variability, limits, volume, gain, response, deep, patterns, etc., even noise channel if you want.
real easy to switch between IM and a pattern. just click IM on or off, if you have a pattern set up and selected in advanced.

must like to do alot of digging being in iron mask unless you are a black smith looking for old school stuff after aa has nothing to do with depth. have fun diggin

I just don't like passing over the good coins sitting under a rusty nail. The XS pro's on this forum have shown me time and time again, photos of their keepers. I enjoy getting the ones everyone else walks right over.

I'd say my trash finds are only 10% as compared to 90% "keeper" finds. In my opinion, the "tones" are what tell the tale!

I guess what I'm trying to say is that I credit the tones more than the programs for making my finds.

Hunt in advanced digital and switch over to iron mask if need be to check a target.I only use -6 which
which basically is a straight line isead of the jagged smart screen line. Seperates the Ferrous and non-ferrous. Always like to keep things simple and works in my neck of the woods. -16 iron mask works well for many but is noisy machine and one wonders if this affects the machine depth wise pro or con.Explorer surely works well in many settings so use the one that works for you..

When I first started hunting in Iron mask I went over an area I had hunted heavily in descriminate program. Within in five minutes I dug a 3 pound cannonball! I have also found several coins that were either on top of or under large rusty nails. the last being an 1802 large cent.
