How much quicker is the recovery speed of the Safari compared to the Quattro? 25%? 50% 100%?

I used to have a Quattro. Deep machine but I was getting frustrated with the recovery speed and nulling, especially in heavier iron/trash sites. I traded it for the EX II for the faster recovery speed. I sold the EX II due to the weight with the X-1 probe which was a problem for my arm and shoulder. I bought the X-Terra 70 which is my current machine.

How much faster is the recovery speed on the Safari now as compared to the Quattro? The X-Terra is pretty fast as you can hear the tones change when there are multiple targets. You can switch from a Patterns mode to All Metal and back quickly with a push of the button. I liked using the Quattro as I did not need the X-1 Probe for pinpointing adding all the extra weight and killing my arm and shoulder on extended hunts. X-terra pinpointing is great. I may get the Safari if the recovery speed is a lot faster and use the X-Terra as a back up unit.

Good question ! I don't know but apparently it is faster and that's word . What I haven't seen posted yet are in the field side by side comparisons from someone using the Quattro and Safari in a field test . If there is anyone here on this forum that has both detectors please give us your results and notes on both . You know compare signals , tones , depth and recovery speed etc . That's what I would like to see and here . :usaflag:
