How to order a new T2?

I found a pretty good deal on the internet for T2s, about $680 to my door but want to be sure its latest revised model. Is there any to tell? Is there something I can ask a dimwitted telemarketer who knows nothing about detectors to check into?
I know its better to buy from local dealers but I can save $100 this way, I'd just like to increase the odds I'm getting a current model.

If you push the ground balance trigger forward and hold it there push and hold the the menu button and turn on the machine it will give you the version number on the screen.
