How would this work?

Just pondering over a question I keep asking myself. It's a question that arises from the love I have for my wife.If I were to die before my wife and I am lucky enough to enter the kingdom of heaven, what will happen if she meets somebody else and re marries. How can she re join me if she has made a life with somebody else?I would rarther not exist at all than be without her in another life.

I think that in heaven we will not love someone greater than another. I think our love will be the same for everyone. I never worry about the unexpected though. If you go to heaven first I don't think you would know if that happened or not. Don't ponder on something that has not happened. Since you and your wife have such a good relationship I would not even worry about it. It is nice to here you talk about how much you love your wife though. People do not talk about how much they love their spouses anymore. My wife is my best friend . GOD has blessed me with her and a beutiful daughter .

You're a good man, Travis. I'm sure Liz knows how blessed she is.

Like Travis, I like the fact that you care so much for your wife and don't care to express it openly. Must be nice! The only answer I can give you comes from the Bible, the book of Matthew, chapter 22, verses 22-32.

23 That same day the Sadducees, who say there is no resurrection, came to him with a question. 24

Matthew 22:30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.

Mark 12:25 For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven.

Luke 20:35 But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage

agree with those below. Scripture says we will not be married in Heaven. I also believe that we will not think of these things in Heaven.
