First time out with the F70. Using the small football coil. Settings: Disc@20, Speed@DE, Sens@60, Thresh@-3, Tones@4H and Notch@tab.... This is my coin hunting program.
Just turned 74 and had a rough winter spent time with magnet on knee and slept with a tensor ring on the lower back. Didn't think I would get another year of detecting in. It was short hunt, actually 1/2 block between side walk and road. It was great getting out. Thanks for stopping by and looking... Happy trails.....Z

Great to see you again! Thats a good performance there! Are you digging all those or stabbing them with a screwdriver? Thats pretty good testimony to you and your rig to whack those amounts of targets after such a long time down!:clapping: I wanna see some more out of you!:thumbup:

The grass was too long, had to use the lesche digging tool. The screwdriver would move the coin and hard to find it in the tall grass. I only made the 1/2 block and thought I would head home. Haven't been watching the forum. Kind of checking out the new F machines but nothing on how they work in the field. I am thinking about trying to do 60 hunts this year maybe take it a little easy this year. I am glad a lot more people are using the F70 now..

Keep up the good work , my little brother(cz5) just recently got him an f70 , so far he seems to like it pretty good but he's been pretty busy and hasn't got out as much as he'd like. Keep the posts coming.

Thanks guys. It was great to get out and dig up some treasures. It was in the low 40's yesterday when I was out. Today almost 70.

Stilllooking Your brother should like the F70. It is light, fast and it can be set up so many different ways.

Jim you are always getting those silver finds. I am still looking for the nymph in the woods.:rofl: I bet there is only one and she is only in your woods? Good to hear from you. Be seeing you a lot in coming months and watching those silver counts go up and up.

Hi Elton I see you got a F70. I run the small (6.5") football coil all the time on the F70. I have the 3 coils and 2 of them are in the storage locker. It makes the F70 much lighter and pin pointing and digging a breeze. Spend some time with it and you will get to know how good it is....
